“ Stopped back in for a friend's birthday and ordered the bao buns and shrimp tacos. The restaurant is cozy and the staff is friendly. I tried the bao buns at a food crawl months ago and had to get them again. They are delicious! A tad pricey but the tacos were great as well. The hibiscus margarita was perfect! ”

“ So happy we finally were able to try this place. We were so happy with the food, service and overall vibes. We started off with the chips and queso, it was delicious but spicy. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were so delicious but definitely spicier than I thought so be aware. My husband ordered the steak tacos and he loved them. I really enjoyed the vibes of the restaurant, I loved the art and old school music videos playing on the TV. ”

“ Wow! What a fantastic restaurant. The fusion foods span multiple cultures and are very well done. The ambiance is fun like with posters of rock stars and interesting music. Our service was great! We had fun cocktails and interesting dishes. We liked the Korean fried rice. The shrimp tacos were excellent with an umami sauce. Also I think this was the best chips and salsa in town. Those chips definitely tasted home made. We will be back. We had a great time with friends and kids. This would also be a great date spot also. ”

“ I choose to come here for my birthday dinner this year after visiting a few times previously. An important note- Parking is extremely tough. There are probably 8 parking spots in front, otherwise you will need to park in the area. It was much busier than expected and although we made reservations we had to wait for our table still. For the birthday guest (myself) they play a drum sound while bringing the cake out which is so fun. Our waiter was exceptionally nice and catered to our party of seven. I left them my birthday cake that I made as part of a thank you for serving us, and he was so excited it made my night. I wish they had more vegetarian options as I love the drinks and atmosphere, but don't have many choices. On previous menus they show vegetarian chicken wings, which would be incredible but I never got to try. I usually get the pear and prosciutto pizza with no prosciutto, which ironically used to be on the menu as a pear and arugula pizza. Although I have to make this change, the pizza is absolutely fantastic. It's an incredible flavor and I fall in love with it every time, even getting the same item. Their potato taquitos are also to die for. They are one of the best appetizers on any menu in town, which says a lot for foodies like us, especially when I don't often like deep fried items. The shell is not thick and hard like most fried items, it's simply a means to hold the deliciously soft potato inside. The best part of all is the many toppings, garnishes, and sauces on top. It is so flavorful it is mind blowing. For a taquito there is truly nothing like it. They outdo themselves on this one. Overall we have come here quite a few times and will keep returning. The service has always been great, food never disappoints, and price is decent for special occasions. Thank you for a great birthday! I appreciate you all! ”

“ How in the world have we not been here before? The menu is so creative. Yellowfin Ahi Ceviche, Kobi Beef Ravioli and fish tacos. That's not even a fair taste of what all you can enjoy at La Condesa Eatery. Look at the menu and you'll have an idea of what is going on right here in Reno. The ceviche was in a broth with paper thin radish slices, avocado and cilantro. Never had anything like this but I will for sure on our next visit. She had the pork belly carbonara with porcini mushrooms. I had a taste, it was delicious. This was after our tiger prawn arepa. Beautiful and delicious. Even had a No Mo Hazy IPA alcohol free. Cutting edge of trends the alcohol free option. Our server, Isela, literally took care of our evening. She covered the menu and offered suggestions. With so many tastes you may not have encountered let the staff help you the first time or two. Lest I forget, check out your surroundings. Art on the walls and the plates! Wow. Now we must mention parking. It's a short conversation because it's limited. There are a couple spaces right at the door but plan on finding a spot in the neighborhood. We did no problem. Reno is not NYC or California but the incredible creativity of local restaurants is alive and kicking in the Biggest Little City. Visit La Condesa for proof!!! ”

“ I forgot about this sweet little spot and I'm glad the ladies at Wylde Market Collective suggested La Condesa which is located right behind the market. My mom and I ordered margaritas. One traditional and the other one was blackberry hibiscus. Both were delicious. I also ordered the Potato Taquitos. Beautifully played and so fresh. I did think pickling the beets would add another layer of flavor to the dish but I am always grateful for a vegetarian option that has so much thought put into it! Will definitely be going back. The staff were very friendly. Decor was nicely done and the lighting was perfect. ”

“ I have been here twice once with coworkers and once with my mother in law and had a great time each time. Early on it's pretty quiet but I can see how it might get louder as the evening progresses. Our waitress was attentive while doubling as bartender. We couldn't decide so we ordered a bunch of things to share. The ahi tostada and pork belly bao were our favorites. We also enjoyed the pear salad, the pear pizza (in a pear mood), and the fish tacos. Honestly everything was great fish tacos were underwhelming in the face of how great everything else was. I had the don't tell me what to do and my partner and his mom had mojitos. My drink was great there's was ok. ”

“ If you are following, you already know, this is/was Happy Hour Week for my wife and I! Quality/Quantity - Taco Tuesday! And happy hour... Well Elijah told us they do not do HH any more, not enough demand?!?! I am so sorry to hear that. Anyways, check out their Taco Tuesday. 3 options to choose from, no mix and match. So my wife and I each got a different type, so we could at least try two of them. Fish Taco - 3 to an order, fried (I think my wife was expecting grilled; she should have asked) Overall it was good. A good fry, decent portions. My wife felt it was too oily. Well, I especially like the spicy sauce. Chorizo Taco - Again, 3 to an order. My wife also felt this was too oily. When she was done, her plate had a puddle of oil left. Good flavors overall. Decent portions. We were about to order the 3rd mushroom taco when my wife decided to hit our usual Happy Hour Taco Tuesday place. So we flagged Elijah down, paid, and left. Atmosphere - Cool space. Both indoor and outdoor, although the outdoor was closed today due to the weather. Looks like an expansion is also coming, see my pictures. Not sure if you have parking, so we parked on the street. Service - Elijah was good. Very welcoming. A hard worker. Price - $34 + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2022; so glad I was finally able to visit. ”

“ We had been meaning to visit La Condesa Eatery for quite a while now and the perfect date night opportunity presented itself. We made a reservation online for indoor seating and were given plenty of time options for a Tuesday evening. We found free street parking close by and as we walked through the outdoor patio area, we imagined how wonderful it would be to sit outside during the warmer months. We were pleasantly greeted by the hostess and our waiter and were informed of the Tuesday happy hour specials - $5 draft beers and 3 for $12 street tacos (either Al pastor or carne asada). For cocktails, we ordered the Guava Margarita and Mambo Italiano - both delicious! For food, we ordered (to share) the homemade chips and salsa (with both red and green sauce), the taco special (carne asada), the pork belly bao steam buns, and the Macha-ahi tostada. Everything was fresh and full of flavor! We cannot wait to go back! ”
